Well, the season of Winter has blown right through us practically, but that doesn't mean you can still get in the snowy mood with some tunes, right? Well, maybe this playlist was a little too late for snowflake admiring or hitting the slopes, but at least you can sit with these chill songs when watching ice (hopefully) melt!

ground // wallows
Although on an EP titled "Spring", I really enjoy this slower yet still catchy song and think it's perfect for snowy study nights, gently skiing some slopes, or warming up by the fire place.

i'm not the only one // sam smith
With a soft acoustic feel to this song and a lot of notes to belt out (or just hum along too) this song gives me "coffee shop in the comfort of your own home" vibes. Feel free to grab a cup of coffee or tea, and snuggle up with this song.

i will follow you into the dark // death cab for cutie
From the moment I heard this song, I fell in love with it. Gentle smiles and shining eyes following the snowflakes seems to what this song was made for. The simplicity of guitar and voice are super pretty and skillfully blend together.

r u mine? // arctic monkeys
This rock song is a little different from the previous songs on this list, but screams the slopes. It's just the perfect mix of modern and classy to blare through waterproof speakers as you shoot down the hill. If you're not a ski bum, then this song is also perfect for late night rock outs!

the hype - berlin // twenty one pilots
A remake of their song "The Hype", this jam has a more light-hearted, chill sound to it. Although, this song is a little more electronic, I still believe that it carries the same energy as acoustic songs. This song celebrating friendship is perfect for homework, car rides, hot cocoa, and pretty much everything else winter.
A time for guitar strums, sweet harmonies, and a simple tune, Winter surely doesn't disappoint when it comes to slow song vibes. I do hope there's at least enough of the snow left to give these five songs a listen, and if you ever fall into the Winter mood again, feel free to check out my playlist. But once you're done checking out these tunes, I'm sure none of us would be mad if the snow just happened to disappear!
