party in your pj's // a cozy christmas and nuzzling new year

Nothing beats the feeling of stripping off heels and tights in exchange for baggy pants and a warm sweater. As Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve and New Year's Day come ready and running full speed ahead, remember that the moments in your pj's are just as special as the ones in your party dress. Looking for some super cute and comfy looks? Take a peek at our holiday picks for the softest, warmest, most festive outfits.

1// matchy matchy

Red, black, and checked, this lumberjack look screams 'Christmas at the cabin'. I paired the flannel on top with some fuzzy pants of the same pattern on bottom-- so no, this set wasn't bought together! To achieve the same look, simple find a top and bottom of the same color or pattern. There's no need to fret over textures; my look is both fuzzy and flannel, but still looks like a match made in heaven... or, my closet.

2// christmas spirit

Why not bump up the holiday spirit? Christmas leggings are a fun and festive statement piece that-- most importantly-- feel juuuuust right. I paired mine with one of my favorite Christmas shirts (leave the quote and movie in the comments if you know it!) to show off some Christmas cheer.

3// travel trendy

Pj's are cute and all... but about when you venture outside the house? For such an occasion, I paired light grey joggers with a white long sleeve top under a button-up jean shirt. To keep warm and balance the grey on bottom, I popped on a knit headband, then added a splash of color with my favorite red ankle rain boots. Perfect for anywhere from traveling a state over to simply running to the store, this look provides the comfort of the pj's without the embarrassment.

4// the set

Movies are one of the best ways to spend holiday afternoons and evenings, so why not support some of your favorites? No one is ever too old for a cute themed pj set, and this Star Wars one is up there with the bests. Both cute and cozy, pj sets take the stress of of matching top to bottom, because-- voilà! --the designers have already done that for you.

5// dressed robe

Long sweaters are the perfect alternative to bulky, heavy dressing robes or bath robes, plus offer a more 'finished' or 'dressed' look. I paired this long, maroon sweater over a 'merry and bright' pull over, then added a pair of army green leggings on bottom. Casual yet cute with muted hints of red and green, this outfit is ready for all of the season's celebrations.

6// number onesie

Not much is cuter than a purple dragon. Period. Christmas in particular pulls out the kid inside all of us, so why not embrace it! It's pretty simple-- I paired my dragon onesie (which we named Puff) with two braids. Easy and adorable, onesies are a win-- especially during the holidays.

Santa's dressed in warm faux fur (at least, we think faux) and cozy scarlet velour-- so why shouldn't we? December 24th to the first day of 2020 will be everywhere from fun and restful to crazy and stressful-- so prepare while you still can with these cute and comfy holiday styles.
